Planning, analyzing, acknowledging and providing advisory services to the Maritime Transportation System focusing on marine safety, security and environmental activities based on National and International legislation.

To prepare and enact new and existing laws, regulations, rules and guidelines at the National level based on applicable International legislation.

• To prepare and enact new laws, regulations, rules and guidelines at the National level based on applicable International legislation.
• Analyse, update, and value existing laws, regulations, rules and guidelines at the National level based on applicable International legislation.
• To lead, coordinate and facilitate the Task Force Committee on the discussion of International Conventions, ratification and acceptance at the National level.
• Set up and manage consultations and impact assessment with stakeholders to measure feedback from industry players covering the effect or impact on capital and operating costs.
• To monitor, coordinate, acknowledge and manage the communication affairs of the Maritime Transport System.
